Michelle Munro, CNM in Savannah, GA has been doing great things for midwifery the last 30yrs and isn't stopping in retirement changing that momentum. After retiring from 28.5yrs of military service including being the only CNM hospital CEO that I am aware of, she is now fighting in her own state for better birth outcomes with improved regulations and women advocacy resources. She ran for Congress, started a non-profit organization, and working towards opening birth center in GA. Michelle is a woman not to tell you can't do something! Great interview and look forward to seeing what she accomplishes the next few years.

Dr. Amber Price, DNP, CNM, RN, President, Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, speaker, author, ACNM plenary 2022 took a bit of time out of her busy schedule to tell me about her extensive midwifery journey to where she is today. We discussed health care systems and how putting women and maternity at the forefront of a health care's organization will really help with improving care in all specialties and increase use of services from all the disciplines. Amber is a great leader in the midwifery realm and gives some great advice to improving access to high quality maternity care services.

This was a real treat of an interview to learn about all the things that Lonnie Morris, CNM has been doing for midwifery in NY and NJ last 50yrs! She has fought for better birth outcomes with her practice. Sued multiple entities restricting midwifery practicing rights and continues to have high energy to keep expanding access to midwifery in her community. She is looking for 2 great midwives to join their team with the ever-growing demand for their practice's high-quality care. Definitely an interview you don't want to miss!
