Challenges with Work Life Balance

Challenges with Work Life Balance

November 20, 2020

Hilary Schlinger, CPM, CNM, is a wealth of knowledge and talks with us today about boundaries with midwifery and importance for your own self care.  We work so hard to care for others, but many times forget to care for ourselves.  We give everything to our profession and sometimes forget to be moms, partners, and family members outside of our midwifery career.  Burnout rans rapid among midwives and need to be able to eat, drink, exercise, and sleep well to have the endurance to support families long term.  Hilary and her 40yrs of midwifery experience gives it to us straight!
